Recipe for Chicken Biryani

    Ingredients

      1. 2 cups Basmati rice, 3/4.

      2.kilograms of chicken 3 large.

      3 .sliced onions, 1 cup yoghurt.

      4.1teaspoon garlic paste.

      5.1 teaspoon green chilli paste.

      6.1/2 cup tomato puree.

      7.2 teaspoons red chilli powder.

      8.1 teaspoon turmeric powder.

      9.1 teaspoon cumin powder (roasted).

      10.1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder.

      11.2 teaspoons garam masala powder.

      12.1/2 cup milk, a pinch of saffron.

      13.1 teaspoon coriander powder.

      14.Green coriander leaves.

    Method

     1. Tomato yoghurt, puree, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, and salt are all ingredients that should be combined in a mixture.

    2. Use the same mixture to marinate the chicken. Rest it for three to four hours.

    3. Put oil in a pan, heat it and fry onions till they turn golden brown.

    4. Now, add the chicken that has been marinated to this and cook the whole thing for ten minutes.

    5. After that, add 3 1/2 cups of water to the rice in a pressure cooker. Additionally, combine the milk and saffron before adding it to the rice.

   6. Lastly, add the cardamom powder and the chicken pieces, along with the marinade.

   7. Mix all the ingredients gently, cover with the cooker lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle.

   8. Cover the cooker with the lid, gently combine the ingredients, and cook under pressure for one whistle.
